Rules for References in Latin

  1. References are drawn up as a separate list after the Russian version, repeating the entire list of sources, including foreign sources.
  2. The transliterated record does not use the separators used in GOST (“//” and “-”). The title of the source and the output data are separated from the authors and the title of the article by the type of font, most often, italics, period, or comma.
  3. When describing a translated edition, it is preferable to present the original version. The translated version can be described in parentheses – as additional information. If it is not possible to identify information about the original version of the book, or the translated version is, for instance, a collection of several foreign editions, the translated edition remains in the main description.
  4. General scheme of references transliteration: author(s) (transliteration) → (year in parentheses) → title of the article in transliterated version [translation of the title of the article into English in square brackets], name of the Russian-language source (transliteration, or English title – if any), output with designations in English.
